I am part-time living in Malawi (Lilongwe) and building up a small farm with slaughterhouse (pigs, poultry)

I plan to have a cold room in a small slaughterhouse for meat, around 40 m3, with a temperature of around 2 to 4 °C. The building is not yet done, I am still free to integrate a cooling room with optimal insolation.

I would also need store room for freezing meat, but could imagin doing this with freezers, in order to be more flexible when it comes to lower or higher columes.

last but not least, I have seen that you have also incubators with solar.

Would you recommend:

– to have a whole cooling room or can we build a well insolated room with bricks and thick ceiling?
– if a cooling room, what is the size, so that I could integrate it in the building?
– what would this cost? Let’s say:
— cooling room 30 m3
— three deep freezers (à 300 liter)
— one incubator for 300 eggs or so
